IHSW Update and Give-away...

I haven't had access to the internet for a few days which is why my update is late.  I did manage to do some stitching of Mama's Design - I only have a week to complete it and then frame it as it is Women's Day on 8th March - time is flying this year (I think I say that every year)

Before IHSW...
After IHSW...
I am really enjoying stitching this one and can't wait to give it to Mama.

Anthea over at 'Hibiscus Stitches' is giving away the Travelling Pattern which she won from my blog - it took 3 months for it to arrive from Poland, which is crazy - I was so worried it got lost.  If you are interested in taking part in the travelling pattern, please 'click here'.

My Design of the Travelling Pattern...
My running has not been going so well this month, I have fallen twice in the past week and hurt the same knee both time (I wont show you a picture of the cuts and bruises - its not pretty) but I am determined to get back on track as my races start again next month and I really want to do well.  My target was to run 80 miles this month but so far I have only achieve 50 with another 5 for tomorrow... Must try harder next month.

Thank you to everyone for their wishes and support for Mama, she is doing OK.  If you would like donate there is a Paypal donation button on the right hand side of the page you are free to use.  Thank you once again to everyone.

  1. Lovely progress on your project! I've stitched the Calla Lily from the same collection a few years ago. I offered it to my mum's older sister :)

  2. I love your stitching, the colours are amazing. I started running again but slipped a disc: so pleased it seems on the mend. I hope your mend is just as quick and you get back on your feet soon xxx
